Abstract:
Networks form a back bone of many infrastructures in our society. We commute from one place to another using transportation network. We communicate with each other using telecommunications network. This talk will focus on how such geo-spatial networks are represented in a Geographical Information Systems (GIS). The talk will focus about data modeling that enables the representation of such networks with in a GIS. It will be very beneficial for people having background in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Graphs and Theory and Optimization
