Abstract:
Antibodies play a very important role in the immune system. Their properties can also be exploited for therapeutic purposes. The talk will cover using antibodies and scFv's as therapeutics and some of the "protein engineering" strategies that can be applied to "tune" their properties. It will also cover the applications of these therapeutics and some basic techniques used to develop the same.
